Inspect and validate before creating a managed copy

The import wizard separates source selection, FIFA edition choice, validation, and the final import so an incompatible or damaged source cannot silently enter the library.

Step 1

Choose the source format

Text folder accepts one or more folders containing DB Master-compatible table files. PC t3db accepts exactly one .db file and its matching metadata .xml file. Changing formats clears the current selection to avoid mixing incompatible inputs.

Step 2

Review detected source information

Inspection reports the display name, source paths, source kind, table and row totals, compatible FIFA editions, and warnings. Rename a queued text source before import when the detected folder name is not useful.

Step 3

Choose an edition and validate

Select one compatible FIFA edition for each source, then run validation. Validation checks table structure, field values, identifiers, numeric ranges, and known relationships against that edition. Sources with errors cannot be imported.

Warnings explain suspicious data that does not block import.
Errors identify data that must be corrected at the source.
Changing the chosen edition invalidates the previous validation.
Long-running validation and import operations can be cancelled.

Step 4

Create the managed snapshot

Review the validated sources and names, then import them. QDB Converter creates private application-owned copies and refreshes the Imported datasets library.
